Its factory, Nannini, is family owned and started in 1954 originally producing high tech spectacle frames for car and motorcycle racing, which they still produce to this day. Since then, it has morphed into a fashion leader in the international optical industry with the production of Onirico. The high standards of design and production are still overseen by family as every detail is essential to achieving the excellence of the finished product. The label’s motto “(see things from) another point of view” rings true with their approach to non-conventional shapes and colour combinations. Onirico is Italian for “dreamlike," and the bright pops of colour and patters that adorn all their frames are certainly evocative of their name.Handmade in one of the best glasses-producing regions in Italy, Reggio Emilia, Onirico challenges us to see the world from another point of view with their bold shapes and colors.
